Special Thanks
ALL YEAR COOLING AND HEATING
Words cannot describe how grateful we are to Tommy, Howard, and all of our friends at ALL YEAR. Their restoration and beautification of Insight's landscape, irrigation system repair, paint job, security cameras, and countless other acts of neighborly kindness have made the 30th year since this beautiful building's dedication one to remember. Thank you for all that you have done for us.
Ben Stern
Ben Stern, as you may recall donated a set of three beautiful leather couches and a love seat, side tables and additional décor for what had been a very “retro” looking lobby here at Insight. With a year-end mailing we indicated that in addition to an annual gift, our friends might consider a gift to help Insight complete a project we had started – the renovation of all of our six recording suites. This was a naming opportunity at the $10,000 level. Once again, Ben stepped up with a check to refit and update studio 5!
In 2015, Ben hosted an incredible night at his home, celebrating 40 years of Insight. In 2017, he surprised everyone with a gift of brand new, wall to wall carpeting. THANK YOU, Ben!
Don Roth
In 2016, one of our long time volunteers, Don Roth, saw a need for improved lighting in our recording suites. Not only did he purchase and install lighting for the studio in which he frequently records, but ALL of our recording suites. Thank you so much for this special gift!
Paul Roseman
Paul Roseman is a veteran Insight recording volunteer -- and just a fun guy to have around. In each of the recording suites there is an intercom to the front office, in case there is a question about content or pronunciation of a word or more often a name or place. There had been static on the intercom for some time and the ability to communicate was quickly deteriorating.Paul asked the Executive Director, Matt Corey if something could be done to repair the system. Also a Man of Action, Matt immediately got on the internet and found the needed parts and showed Paul the cost. Paul just said “deal” . The repair process was started and the completed all before Paul’s next Friday recording date. Thank you Paul -- the staff appreciates you stepping up and the volunteers are certainly grateful to have the intercom working so well.
Dee Campbell
Back in 2001, Dee thought it would be nice to be able to sit with her friends on Insight's grounds and enjoy the best of South Florida's climate...so she had a garden bench delivered to Insight. Particularly in the winter, the bench by the bird feeder was an in-demand place to spend a lunch break! However, no amount of waterproofing and sealing can keep out South Florida's humidity, rain, and hurricanes...and 11 years later, the bench's slats finally gave way. Just last week, however, we were thrilled to take delivery of a brand new, wrought iron garden bench, courtesy of ... (you guessed it)... Dee. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, generosity, and your many years of active volunteerism and service here at Insight.
